Kitchen Designer / Interior Designer

INAVOGUE is looking for a creative and enthusiastic KITCHEN DESIGNER / INTERIOR DESIGNER to join our innovative team! We're looking for a candidate who is up for a challenge, who isn't afraid to think outside the box and push boundaries, and who can bring a unique flair to each project.

INAVOGUE have been servicing the Adelaide Hills and Adelaide Metro areas for over 30 years with high end cabinetry and joinery, in both residential and small commercial projects. We have a diverse range of clients and each day is a chance to work on new and exciting projects.

Our factory and showroom are situated in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, within a relaxing 20 minute drive up the freeway.

We pride ourselves on working within a friendly, respectful team with a great culture.

We value those with strong communication and customer service skills and a knack for understanding complex design plans. Knowledge of material selection and excellent organisational skills are essential to success in this role.

You should be passionate about transforming spaces and passionate about design. The successful applicant must be able to develop detailed construction drawings, understand and anticipate the needs of each client, and stay up-to-date on the latest trends in the kitchen industry.

Cabinetmaker

If you are a Craftsperson looking for a role where you’ll make an impact and showcase your skills and help develop others into skilled craftspeople? Looking to take the next step in your career progression in a senior role? What about one that brings respect, support, opportunity and reward?

We are seeking a confident, meticulous and Senior Cabinetmaker to play a key part in one of South Australia's most proactive and reputable manufacturing businesses.

Inavogue have been servicing the Adelaide Hills and Adelaide Metro areas for over 30 years with high end cabinetry and joinery, in both residential and small commercial projects. We have a diverse range of clients and each day is a chance to work on new and exciting projects.

We are inviting the right candidates to compliment our production team and take Inavogue to another level of professionalism and quality. We also have pathways to develop your skills into Technical Detailing/Drafting for experienced cabinetmakers who want to progress their career.

Our factory and showroom is situated in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, within a relaxing 20 minute drive up the freeway.

Requirements:

  • 5 years cabinet making or joinery experience, or related skills
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal, to both colleagues and clients
  • Ability to think outside the square and provide realistic solutions
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and support the objectives of the design team
  • Ability to read and understand plans and drawings relating to cabinetry
  • Provide a calm, responsible, respectful, and positive attitude
  • Good time management
  • Valid driver’s licence

Primary responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the factory manager, detailers and scheduling team in regard to job prioritisation and workflow progress
  • Provide guidance and general direction to other cabinetmakers and apprentices to achieve schedules and goals
  • Perform all work expected of a fully qualified cabinetmaker as required in the production of cabinetry
  • Final inspections of cabinetry manufacture prior to installation
  • Attend job sites for final check measures, installation of cabinetry and problem solving as required
  • Ensuring a high quality finish and handover is experienced by our clients, every time
  • Collaborate with other departments to implement continuous improvement and help drive growth and development of the team and business

Apprentice

Inavogue are seeking a confident, ambitious and driven Apprentice Cabinetmaker to play a key part in one of South Australia's most proactive and reputable manufacturing businesses.

Inavogue have been servicing the Adelaide Hills and Adelaide Metro areas for over 30 years with high end cabinetry and joinery, in both residential and small commercial projects. We have a diverse range of clients and each day is a chance to work on new and exciting projects.

Requirements:

  • Ability to think creatively and provide practical solutions
  • Good hands on technical skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support design objectives
  • A calm, respectful, and responsible attitude
  • Good time management skills and a valid driver’s license

Primary responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the factory manager and senior tradespeople in the production of cabinetry, ensuring a high-quality finish
  • Participate in final inspections and installations
  • Ensure a high quality finish and handover is experienced by our clients, every time
  • Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere
